About the Artist

​

        Ever since I was born and raised in the coastal city of Charleston, SC, I have always been inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds me. While looking from my home studio window, I often find myself captivated by the variety of birds and other wildlife nearby. Art has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, with acrylic and oil being my favorite media for painting. I enjoy the versatility and vibrancy of acrylic paints, but I also enjoy experimenting with watercolor and charcoal to explore different styles and techniques. My mom and sister are both artists and my mom has been my art teacher both at home and at school. When I'm not painting, you can find me enjoying the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and traveling to new places, often photographing my experiences. At home, you can always find at least one of my five dogs at my feet and my African Gray parrot on my shoulder. After College, I plan to continue my passion for art through a career in interior design.   ~Allie Rodelsperger
